Enter the Top EdTech Product of the Year awards

Have an innovative new edtech solution? Enter our “Top EdTech Products of the Year” awards contest, the winners of which will be presented at FETC January 23-26, 2024.

Education leaders looking to explore their options in the rapidly growing education technology marketplace—which has grown even more crowded—often turn to industry-leading efforts like FETC, the Future of Education Technology® Conference, to sort out the most viable tools for their organizations.

Once again this year, District Administration and FETC will honor the best of the best of new edtech solutions with our “Top EdTech Products of the Year” awards. Education technology is already playing an increasingly vital role in helping leaders meet the needs of their schools, so now more than ever it’s important to spotlight the innovative products helping fuel educational success.

To be eligible for the honor, tools must have been developed or updated within the last year and be generally available by September 2024. Submissions will be judged on the solutions’ innovation in the edtech space, with particular attention to how the tools are breaking new ground.

Companies will be divided into three categories: Startup, Midsize and Large. For the purpose of this contest, we’re defining a startup as a company that has existed for three years or less with revenue under $1 million. To be considered, startups must have a working website. Midsize is defined as a company with up to $50 million in annual revenue, and large is over $50 million in revenue.

Solution providers can submit their applications through the FETC website along with a non-refundable entry fee of $99. A panel of experts assembled by DA and conference organizers will select up to five finalists in each of seven categories, with one winner from each named “Top EdTech Products of the Year.”

Conference organizers also will showcase the top-rated products live at FETC Jan. 23-26, which will be held in person in Orlando. Providers will be invited to perform demonstrations of their solutions at a special session that is expected to draw hundreds of education and tech leaders, including potential buyers, and will also be included in promotional materials for the event.

The submission window is open now and the deadline for submissions is Sept. 1, 2023. Providers that move on to the demonstration phase of the judging process will be notified on or about October 15, 2023.
